OVERVIEW Size: 560 x 385, i + 167 + i paper folios with two modern foliations in pencil (ff. 1, 68-70 and 105 now missing). Scribe: several hands from the Alamire workshop contributed to the 's HerAB 72A-C mini-complex. Place and Brief History: Brussels/Mechelen; possibly a commission from the Confraternity of Our Illustrious Lady. Date: early 1530s. Covers and Decoration: Brown leather with blind-tooled lozenge design, calligraphic initials for all pages opening sections and sub sections of the masses and for the motets (although one exception on f. 107r).
