's HerAB 72A: 's-Hertogenbosch, Archief van de Illustre Lieve Vrouwe Broederschap MS 72A Size: 560 x 384, ii + 151 paper folios; two modern pencil foliations; blank folios: 1r, 19r, 82v-83r, 101v-102r, 126v-127r and 150v-15r; between folios 51r and 53r two folios with 52a and 53b numbering respectively. Scribe: several hands from the Alamire workshop contributed to the 's HerAB 72A-C mini-complex. Place and Brief History: Brussels/Mechelen; possibly a commission from the Confraternity of Our Illustrious Lady, with last restoration (one of several) in 1985. Date: early 1530s Covers and Decoration: Brown leather with blind-tooled lozenge design, painted calligraphic initials with caricatures and grotesques and other inked calligraphic initials for all pages opening sections and sub sections of the masses; brass buckles and clasps.
