Mathurin Forestier- Missa Baise moy

Missa Baise moy

Source: JenaU 4, ff. 102v-112r (For additional sources see: CMME)

Voices: 5- discantus/contratenor/tenor [I] derived from tenor [II]/bassus.

Two versions of the Kyrie are provided, the first with the Christe in 4; the second with the Christe in 5. Both sources for this mass (JenaU 4 and MontsM 766, ff. 6v-18r) transmit one signum congruentia in the Christe bassus; however a further voice can be derived from the bassus thus giving a 5-part reading.
